Regional Buses in the County

With our yellow buses you can reach all corners of Uppsala County and actually even further afield than this. For example, we have lines that still go to Västerås, Strängnäs and Sala. The regional service includes approximately 200 lines and a total of approximately a million journeys are made each month by the yellow buses. 

The regional service also includes school buses and urban area service in Bålsta and Knivsta/Alsike.

Buying tickets?

On the regional buses you can always purchase tickets on board using a credit/debit card or pay with travel funds. It is of course also possible to pre-purchase tickets e.g. with the UL card, the UL app or from our agents/ticket machines.  

Charging mobile?

No problem, there are electric sockets next to seats on many of the regional buses. 

Free WiFi 

Some regional buses have access to wireless internet, obviously without additional charge. 

Accessibility

Many of our regional buses are adapted and accessible to people with disabilities. Read more about accessibility on board here.
