Our tickets
The UL tickets are available in two price levels: adult price and discounted price. Adult price applies to those aged 20-64. If you belong to one of the following traveler categories, you have the opportunity to travel at a discounted price:
- Youth: 7-19 years, or you who turn 20 during the ticket's validity period.
- Student: you who study at least 75% and have valid student identification from Mecenat, STUK or WeStudent with SL logo.
- Pensioner: you who are 65 years of age or older, or you who have the Pensions Authority's pensioner's certificate.
- Beneficiary: you who have Försäkringskassan's certificate for beneficiaries.
When traveling with a ticket at a discounted price, you need to be able to prove your right to travel at the discounted price. Full details can be found in UL's general purchase and travel conditions section 2.4
The UL tickets are valid for travel with City buses, Regional buses, Mälartåg on the Uppsala-Sala, Uppsala-Gävle and Uppsala-Arlanda/Märsta routes, as well as the SL shuttle on the Uppsala-Knivsta-Arlanda route. Traveling with children
A person who is 18 years of age or older and has a valid UL ticket may bring up to 6 children aged 7 to 11 years free of charge. This applies every day of the week, year-round, when travelling within UL's traffic area. This does not apply if you are travelling on a Resplus ticket.

75-minute, 24-hour and 72-hour ticket
These tickets are valid from the time the ticket is activated. If changing during the journey, boarding must be done before the ticket expires.
7, 30 and 90-day ticket
These tickets are valid from the day the ticket is started.
Summer ticket
The ticket is valid 24/7 throughout the summer, 1 June-31 August. There is a special summer holiday ticket for young people, see the Special offer for young people tab.
Annual ticket
The annual ticket can be bought in the UL app, loaded onto a UL card at our sales agents, or be ordered against an invoice via the link below.
