This is how city buses in Uppsala operate during extreme weather and specific events
In the event of extreme weather and other events, a so-called contingency plan is activated. The contingency plan has been developed together with Uppsala Municipality and Gamla Uppsala Buss to maintain public transport with city buses in Uppsala in the event of extreme weather conditions and/or other specific events. UL:s buses then drive on streets that are classified as A-streets (according to the municipality's snow removal plan). The buses stop at stops along the temporary route.
All buses depart from Uppsala Central Station and drive to their respective final stop. The bus is marked with the destination's final station, for example Eriksberg, Gottsunda, etc.
