Pay for you trip with SMS

Effective 04.06.07, you can buy single tickets for Stadstrafiken in Uppsala via SMS on your mobile phone. For us, this is a way of reducing the amount of cash we handle. For you, it is another way to save on your travel fare.

How to pay with SMS:
Send an SMS with UV for an adult ticket (SEK 20) or UU for a children/youth ticket (SEK 12) to the phone number 72472.

A few seconds later, you will receive a message with the information the bus driver needs to verify that the message contains a valid ticket. The SMS ticket will indicate the time when it expires, 90 minutes from the SMS ticket arrives on your phone.

Present the message to the driver when boarding the bus. The message should be saved, just like a regular ticket.

It is important to make sure that you have ordered and received your SMS ticket before you board the bus.

You pay for your SMS ticket via your cell phone bill or prepaid account.
